A perfect credit score of 850 is virtually impossible, say the experts. But a score that’s close enough will yield the same benefits.

I'm interested that the article says just having lots of cards and thus a potential large instant debt doesn't hurt. I've been planning on cancelling cards that I don't use (and basically forgot I had) on the advice of my State Farm agent/advisor who said the excess cards, even when unused, cause me to be offered a higher car loan rate than if I didn't have them. She advised getting down to just a couple of cards. Any advice?
I think the link on how to pull your own credit for free was really useful. I didn't know there were free services out there so I was always hesitant to check mine.
I think its great to know that no one out there has 'perfect' credit. I found the article to be very informative and helpful in knowing how to keep a good credit score and that pulling my own credit will not cause my credit to drop.
